EnopAI delivers intelligent optimization for commercial and industrial energy systems. The platform combines AI-based forecasting with mathematical modeling to determine economically optimal operating strategies for any energy system. Digital twin technology creates detailed representations of all energy components—generators, storage units, and consumers like PV systems, CHP units, batteries, and electric vehicles—capturing both technical specifications and economic factors. The cloud solution connects smoothly via API to existing energy management systems, bringing intelligent optimization to facilities without missing a beat.
EMS vendors currently face a significant visibility gap when supporting their site users. Without a centralized dashboard, admins struggle to quickly access critical information about connected sites—how many are active, which ones are experiencing issues, and what specific problems need attention. When site users call with urgent questions, EMS vendors can't provide efficient answers, instead having to contact EnopAI separately to request charts and statistics. This fragmented workflow creates frustrating delays, reduces responsiveness to customer needs, and ultimately impacts the quality of service that vendors can deliver to their end users!
The hi-fidelity mockup addresses EMS vendor challenges with a clean, intuitive layout. Four status categories (Connected, Warning, Issues, Unconfigured) prominently displayed at the top give admins instant network visibility.
Detailed site information follows below, with a quick search function for finding specific locations. Frequently used settings like optimization time intervals are easily accessible. This logical information flow, overview first, details second, enables admins to efficiently monitor their network and respond quickly to customer inquiries.
When scrolling down, administrators access a comprehensive table with detailed site information. Each entry includes an expand button that reveals additional data that's important but less frequently needed—exact site location, contact information for site personnel, and key performance metrics. The expanded section also displays valuable statistics like cost savings from EnopAI's optimization services and system uptime percentages. For admin troubleshooting or when responding to site user inquiries, a convenient "View Optimization" button provides immediate access to a new page showing detailed optimization schedules for all components alongside energy market price predictions, exactly what is needed to efficiently address user questions!
I designed high-fidelity mockups within a tight timeframe that enabled EnopAI to showcase their solution effectively at tradeshows, successfully attracting interest from potential EMS vendor partners.
The intuitive interface design not only demonstrated the product's capabilities but also served as clear documentation for developers, facilitating quick implementation as the first proof of concept.
